Samsung has finally revealed the date of the Galaxy S9 launch.
The eroticism definition humanitiescompany just sent out invites to a Feb. 25 press event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona where Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S9.
SEE ALSO: If the rumors are true, Samsung's Galaxy S9 will not be able to compete with the iPhone XLaunch date aside, Samsung also appeared to confirm that the S9's cameras are in for some major upgrades. Though the company didn't give much away, the invitation is emblazoned with the words "The Camera. Reimagined."
This would be in line with previous rumors, which suggested that the S9 would be equipped with dual rear-facing cameras, much like the iPhone X and other phones. Another rumor said the cameras would be equipped with a new image sensor that would allow them to shoot as many as 1,000 photos per second.
Whether or not those rumors end up being true, it's obvious Samsung will devote much of the event to the S9's camera, which should be welcome news to those who were disappointed with the relatively small camera upgrades made to last year's S8 and S8+.
Luckily, we don't have to wait much longer to get answers to our questions about the camera and all the rest of the S9's specs.
