The Nintendo Switch OLED Model - Mario Red Edition will be available at the Nintendo store starting on Oct. 6, and Mario fans can preorder the console now for $349.99. As you can probably guess from the product name, which is a mouthful, the new OLED model comes in Mario red.

Credit: Nintendo To celebrate popular titles, Nintendo sometimes releases special-edition Switch consoles, like the recent Tears of the KingdomOLED Switch released in April 2023. This new OLED model features subtle — maybe a little too subtle — Mario accents.
From the front, there are no obvious signs that this is a Mario-themed Switch console. On the back, Nintendo has added a "silhouette design of Mario" leaping into the air. You can also find some hidden coins inside the console near the ports.

Credit: Nintendo October will bring some big changes to the Mario universe, which recently enchanted a new generation of fans thanks to the popularity of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. A new side-scrolling Mario game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder,will be released on Oct. 20, and it features some unique new online elements that encourage players to place nicely, which is sadly a rarity in the online world. The new game will also feature the debut of a new Mario voice actor.
