Spending multiple hours a day on Karen Foster ArchivesTikTok, are you? Struggling to look away? Well brace yourself, because the app wants even more of your time.

Social media consultant Matt Navarra shared a screenshot from TikTok in a Threads post, with the title "Upload longer videos".
"Upload videos up to 15 minutes long!" reads the notification. "Make sure your app is up-to-date, then try uploading from your app or desktop on tiktok.com."
TikTok has been slowly creeping up its video upload length for a while now. Originally home to 15 second videos, the app eventually increased this to a minute, then three minutes, and most recently 10 minutes in Feb. 2022.
It's worth noting that these 15-minute videos are just a test at the moment, and there's no word on whether or not they'll be rolled out to all users. But given the way things have been going, it wouldn't be all that much of a surprise.
