We proudly present the latest drool-worthy food trend: the sushi donut.
While we already know that donuts can All Out with AJ Raval (2025)make excellent sushi, Instagram user sobeautifullyraw has recently enlightened the world by showing us that sushi can also be transformed into deliciously beautiful donuts.
The sushi donut is here to prove that we are suckers for things shaped like donuts, and that despite common beliefs, not all successful culinary concoctions need to be rainbow-colored.
Though sushi donuts are technically just regular sushi in the shape of donuts, they look like magical, sophisticated works of art.
We now live in a world where rice can take the place of fried dough, mayo can be used as frosting and sesame seeds can imitate sprinkles. What a time to be alive.
