Forget everything you thought you knew about competitive sports because it's 2017,Hindi Archives and the only competition that matters right now is handshakes. And Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron may have just taken the grand prize for the most awkward handshake ever.
Trump and Macron spent the day together on Friday as the two world leaders celebrated Bastille Day. And spending the day together means one thing: the two were back at it again with their jaw-droppingly unnatural handshakes.
SEE ALSO: Behold: the cringiest Trump handshake yetWhile we've seen the two exchange truly uncomfortable handshakes time and time again, this new handshake just might be the longest handshake in the history of handshakes.

It lasted almost an entire minute long and for the love of politics, someone please save us from this weird nightmare.
In the nearly 60-second video of this handshake, the two walked, talked, patted each other, and admired the sights.
At one point Trump even kissed Macron's wife, Brigitte — who he did a little handshake dance with on Thursday — without letting go of her husband. Luckily, Melania made it out unscathed.
Macron, who's already showed Trump he's not afraid of his infamously powerful grip, appeared to be hanging on for dear life. Both men seem to be sending some sort of elaborate physical message that they are each very strong, very determined, and very not here for each other's nonsense.
Hopefully next time the two will at least call up Guinness and try to set a world record.
