Save $200: Typically $1,Pretty Mother in law099, Amazon marked down the 13-inch MacBook Air (M3, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) to just $899 as of June 10. The price cut amounts to an 18% discount, and the lowest price we've ever seen on this laptop.
It's a big day for Apple fans, and we're not just talking about folks who are tuning into WWDC.
The 13-inch M3 MacBook Air, a laptop that came out just over three months ago, is on sale at Amazon for $899 as of June 10. The price drop puts this laptop $200 below its $1,099 MSRP and just $70 away from the new record low on the M2 MacBook Air with the same 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.
This is an exceptionally good deal, as the M3 Air line came out just three months ago. And although Apple's WWDC conference is today, there's no major reason that MacBooks should be receiving a massive discount, making this deal even more surprising.
SEE ALSO: The best time of year to buy a Mac, whether you want a MacBook or iMacWe're not complaining — the M3 MacBook Air is one of our favorite MacBooks, with the 15-inch model being our favorite laptops, period. (The 15-inch Air, in case you were wondering, is also down to a record low price of $1,129, down from $1,299). The M3 chip is the latest you can find on a Mac laptop, giving this Air a speedy performance and plenty of power to get you through multiple tasks.
While there are only two Thunderbolt ports and one MagSafe charging port, you can connect up to two external displays (with the lid closed), and enjoy WiFi 6E support. The speakers and keyboard remain unchanged from the M2 Air, but considering we were fans of the older gen, we're not upset at all. Of course, because this is a MacBook Air, this laptop is also plenty portable, sitting under half an inch thick and at 2.7 pounds.
Ultimately, we wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the best MacBook deals we see until at least Prime Day, if not longer. If you've been waiting to upgrade to a better everyday laptop, this deal gives you a pretty good reason to go ahead and do it.
