Chrissy Teigen is Romantic comedy Archivestaking a break — of sorts, anyway — from Twitter.
The model, author and beloved tweeter made her Twitter account private Tuesday night after speaking at a Hillary Clinton rally in Nevada. Later that night, she confirmed her decision to a curious fan, writing that she was "not strong enough anymore" to keep her account public.

"It's not haters or trolls or generally mean people," she wrote. "I just feel like I am absorbing bad shit 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore."
Teigen is no stranger to Twitter's dark side — she's been bombarded with negative comments about everything from an unretouched Women's Healthphoto shoot to the heinous crime of enjoying herself while being a mother.
On Monday, she defended Kim Kardashian, who faced mockery on Twitter after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
"It's a miracle I'm still on here," she wrote at the time.
Those who already follow Teigen can breathe easy: if you followed her before she made her account private, you're still following her now. New followers, though, will have to be approved by Teigen.
All the more reason to not be a damn troll.
