But when I saw this Charizard ex Super Premium Collection marked down to $49.94 on Amazon, it felt like the kind of thing I’d regret skipping. At 38% off, it’s priced like a decent night out except it doesn’t come with awkward small talk.
This set comes with three foil cards: Charizard ex, Charmander, and Charmeleon. They look great. They also don’t show up in regular booster packs, which makes them feel more intentional than just another card you’ll forget exists by next week. There’s also a Charizard figure in the box, which, yes, is very much for display. It’s not subtle, but that’s the point.
