On Sunday,White Nude Taken Down artist Christine Stein stepped outside her California home to discover a surprise: The massive bush growing behind her custom tribute to the late musician Prince had bloomed for the first time.
Though the mural itself attracted attention back in 2016, it found new online fame after Stein shared a photo of the surrounding the bush in bloom on Twitter.

Stein tells the local news team at KCRA that the flowers appeared unexpectedly after someone "mistakenly dropped" mulch in front of her mural, prompting the bush to grow. "And then just on Easter, it bloomed with all these flowers I've never seen before," she said.
