She announced the news on Thursday during an interview with now-fellow NBC late nighter Fallon.
"An Indian-Canadian woman with her own late night show? Now that is a dream come true," Singh told Fallon. "I’m thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope my parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild."
Singh's appointment will make her the only woman to currently host a late-night talk show on a Big 4 network — and she'll also be executive producing.
A Little Latewill run for 30 minutes, and see Singh conducting in-studio interviews as well as running pre-taped comedy sketches and segments. She said the show would be "kind of like my YouTube channel, but now I have more than three staff members."
"I'm so excited because I truly get to create a show from scratch," she added. "I get to make it inclusive, I get to create comedy segments, and interview people, and really create something I believe in. I am so honored and humbled."
Singh also posted her excitement on Twitter on Thursday, giving a shoutout to her fanbase.

Looks like a little time away from YouTube has paid off for Singh, who in November announced to her 14 million subscribers she was taking an indefinite hiatus from the platform, specifically to focus on her mental health.
Go get 'em, Lilly.
