Looking for the perfect way to treat yo' self andthe kids in your life?Watch Woman Living in A Motel Room Online A children's book inspired by Parks and Recreationis coming, so you can officially call off your search.
Parks and Recreation: Leslie for Class President, written by Robb Pearlmanand illustrated by Melanie Demmer, follows a tiny, blue-eyed, blazer-wearing Leslie Knope as she runs for office. Unlike the NBC comedy, however, Knope isn't running for city council. In the book, she has her sights set on a far more age-appropriate political position: class president ofPawnee Elementary.
As Knope campaigns alongside her pals Ann Perkins and Ben Wyatt, she encounters some familiar faces including Ron Swanson, Andy Dwyer, Tom Haverford, and Donna Meagle. According to a description of the book, Knope tries her best to appeal to voters, but things get a little tricky after she makes several campaign promises she might not be able to see through. Sounds like some classic Leslie chaos is about to unfold.
The book promises to be jam-packed with references to the show and include Easter eggs that only true Parks and Recfans will pick up on. Will we see April and Jerry? Will a young Burt Tyrannosaurus Macklin, kid FBI agent, make an appearance? The possibilities feel endless.
The Pawnee-inspired children's book is set to go on sale June 29, 2021. If you're eager to secure your copy, though, you can pre-order the book today for $17.99.
If Parks and Recreation: Leslie for Class Presidentlooks familiar to you, that's because it's from the same iconic team that unveiled the adorableOffice children's book, The Office: A Day at Dunder Mifflin Elementary, which published on Sept. 29.
