You might be alexandra daddario sex videosurprised to learn this, but the Millennials and Gen X'ers facing off against each other in the 33rd season of Survivoractually do have one thing in common: confidence.
"Both sides feel extremely confident that their philosophical approach to life is hands-down going to dominate the other," host Jeff Probst told Mashablein an interview on the eve of tonight's premiere.

The reality competition has been on TV long enough to straddle both generations, so the idea in Season 33 is to see how those differing perspectives fare in competition with one another.
Interestingly, it's a climate heated by 2016's historic presidential election that provided the inspiration for Millennials Vs. Gen-X.
"A year ago is when we had this idea," Probst said. "And the initial spark, for me, came from Bernie Sanders and watching the passion that the Millennials had to get involved in the political system.
"I just looked ahead and thought, 'Man, we're gonna be on in November.' It really made sense. I think you will taste it throughout the season, and especially as we get a little closer to the election, there might be interview bites that relate to what's happening in the political system."
Probst wants to be clear that Survivoris not a show aboutpolitics, but it's not going to shy away from engaging in that conversation if the season turns in that direction.
"If there's a [soundbite] or a point of view that someone has that is a metaphor for their lifestyle or the game, and it's politically based, then it makes perfect sense," he said. "We were very much aware when shooting this that it would be airing during the election."
Early on, the differences between the two tribes couldn't be more apparent. That generation gap is an undercurrent throughout the season, but in the early days it's going to feel like everyone is playing their generation's "part."
"Gen X'ers come in just like the cliche," Probst said. "'Everything we had, we had to work for; we're the first latch-key generation, so we're used to being on our own; if you got a promotion it's because you deserve it; and if I'm in charge you need to do what I say, and everything will go just fine.'"
The Millennials are no different. On the surface, they appear to live into the stereotypes that seem to always chase the younger generation.
""[They're] saying, 'Um, we want to have a voice simply because we're on the planet. We don't care so much about whether you think we earned it. Yes, we are the participation trophy generation, but what we will do is outwork you if you just stay off our backs and give us a little space.'"
What separates the two groups at the start of the season is their sense of awareness. The Millennials are no strangers to the baggage that follows their generation around, but they also know they're more than just a collection of stereotypes.
"[They're] incredibly passionate," Probst said, lapsing into the voice of the Millennial tribe. "'If you give us autonomy and believe in us, we'll blow you away. We might not get in there right at 8 a.m. to start the workday, but we'll be there until midnight and we'll get the job done better than you ever dreamed.'
"'But please don't tell me I have to earn it and for god's sake don't lecture me about how you used to walk to school in the snow. I don't want to hear it, old man.'"
Probst isn't a Millennial himself, and he went into the season with many of the same doubts about the younger tribe that the Gen X crew had by default.
"Going in, I thought the Millennials will be fun to watch but they don't really have a chance because they just don't have enough life experience, and the game will swallow them," he said.
"What I found when ... we got to Tribal Council: the group that I was the most interested in talking to were the Millennials because they had an enthusiasm about life and the game, and they had a Devil-may-care attitude about tomorrow. 'Let's just live tonight, Jeff.'"
In contrast, the Gen X'ers were more... basic. That's not the word Probst used, but his early impressions of the older tribe point to a group that's set in their ways, with rigid beliefs around forming alliances and sticking to concrete plans.
"I found myself thinking, 'I'm a Gen X'er and I don't want to be," he said. "I don't like how you guys sound. You sound like old people sitting in a lawnchair, talking about the good, old days.'"
Ultimately, both tribes' generational philosophies come with drawbacks. For the Millennials, their enthusiasm and youth is accompanied by unavoidable carelessness. The Gen X'ers, meanwhile, hobble themselves with their need to be in control.
"That's what's interesting about the season," Probst said. "Sooner or later they will swap tribes or merge together and you will have to work with the other side to get to the end. And it comes down to who's going to do the best job of merging their lifestyle while adapting as necessary to the other generation's lifestyle."
It's always been the long game that makes Survivorso satisfying. The early, pre-merge episodes establish characters, motivations and expectations that are often shattered by the end. And based on what Probst hinted at, we can expect a lot of eye-opening moments from Millennials Vs. Gen-X.
"I'd say this one impacted me, personally, probably more than any previous season," he said. "I walked away understanding this: like it or not, it is now the Millennials' world. If you want to be somebody that holds onto your ideal and fights the current, you will drown.
"The Millennials have a different way of working, a different way of living. The have a different feeling about what the world should be about. And if you don't get on that course and ride it in the direction it's going, it's going to kick you off."
