Curious if you and beauty of eroticismyour neighbors have the same tastes in porn?
With millions of viewers flocking to its site each day, Pornhub has no shortage of data to mine for that very answer. The adult content platform has just released their 2017 State of the Union, which breaks down the trends that defined viewership in the US, from the most popular search terms in each state to the nation's average time spent per visit.
So, which search terms were biggest in your home state?
SEE ALSO: Surprise: Women watched more porn in 2017In 2017, searches for "lesbian" came out on top in 42 states, with "milf" in a distant second place.
As for the top gaining searches, "cheerleader" reigned supreme. The most unusual addition? The site reported an increase in searches in West Virginia for "smoking." Hmm.
Where things really get deep is when they breakdown which terms each state searched more often than other states. The northeast seems to be, um, big into "giantess." While "creampie" searches dot the middle of the country. And a few very brave states were extra interested in the "do not cum challenge." Yikes.
Finally, Mississippi takes home the award for longest average time spent on site per visit. At 11 minutes and 33 seconds, the southern state's average time lags exactly one minute behind the national average of 10 minutes and 33 seconds. The state with the least time spent per visit? The award goes to Kansas, with an average of 9 minutes and 5 seconds.
Curious to know more about your state's standing?
The report's right here, though you might considering waiting until you're home to dig too deeply into what you're neighbors are watching.
