SEE ALSO: 'Get Out' will win Best Picture because the Academy can't make up its mindWhen Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced La La Landas Best Picture instead of Moonlightat last year's Academy Awards, everyone watching spontaneously combusted — including La La Landproducer Jordan Horowitz, who had to hand over the gold onstage.

Dunaway and Beatty were mere messengers for an incredible behind-the-scenes clusterfuck eventually pinned on PWC accountant Brian Cullinan, whose distracted backstage tweeting lead to a fatefully misplaced envelope.
The Best Picture nominees this year are Get Out, Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird, Dunkirk, The Shape of Water, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The Post, Darkest Hour and Phantom Thread. We won't be surprised if Beatty and Dunaway brandish the opened envelope as proof this time.
