Angelina Murphy isn't a regular teacher,The Never Ending Love Story she's a cool teacher.
Why? Well, Murphy is a high school English teacher in California who gives her students a fun and unique end of year assignment: Making memes.
"I give students the option to submit memes about the school year or our class and we look at them on the last day of class," Murphy told her Twitter followers. "They usually take this opportunity to roast me, which I don’t mind. They really outdid themselves this year..."

Murphy, who seems extremely chill and cool, proceeded to share a long thread of truly impressive memes her students made before leaving for the summer.
There are shoutouts to some of the best memes of 2019, like "and I oop—," but also to classic memes that reference The Officeand Spongebob. There are Kanye and Drake memes, Get Outmemes, Kardashian memes, and more, and they're all about inside class jokes, Murphy's teaching styles and classroom habits, and of course, grammar rules. The memes all deserve As in my opinion.

Murphy's thread is extremely long and you can scroll through all the memes here, but we want to highlight that though many of the students used the meme assignment to low-key drag their teacher (in a funny way), there were some genuinely heartwarming memes, too. We see you, "My Classroom vs. Our Classroom" rendition of Drake's "Hotline Bling" meme. :')

Murphy ended the thread by thanking all the meme fans for showing love and support, and said her students would be "very excited to see they went viral."

This thread truly showcases students becoming teachers at its finest, and we hope it becomes a Twitter tradition.
