Save $100:The Canada ArchivesApple Magic Keyboard for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro as well as the model for the 11-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air are $100 off at Amazon as of March 8.
While searching for a new laptop, ask yourself: Do you already have an iPad?
If yes, you might be making this much harder than it needs to be. Amid all of your options, the best one might be to not get a laptop at all. Instead, push your iPad to its full potential with Apple's Magic Keyboard.
SEE ALSO: Apple might launch AirTags, iPad Pro, and more on March 23Both models are $100 off at Amazon as of March 8: Get the one for the iPad Air (4th gen) and 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd gen) for $199 and the one for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (4th gen) for $249.99 (technically a saving of $99.01 after a $20 discount plus $79.01 coupon).
If you already have an iPad, we're willing to bet that you're partial to Apple's OS. Perhaps you're shopping for a MacBook. Instead of shelling out $1,000 or more, Apple's Magic Keyboard adds the whole laptop ensemble for less than $250. iPad Pros (and even the Air) are so much more powerful than most people realize. The A12 Bionic chip makes these iPads are multitasking beasts, even when it comes to power-sucking apps like Photoshop or Premiere Pro.
When the only stones that can be thrown at a product are "expensive" and "heavy," you know you're in for something. (These Amazon discounts cushion the price part, and a wireless keyboard adding some extra poundage still doesn't compare to lugging the brick that is the MacBook Pro.)
Mashable's Brenda Stolyar was psyched on the built-in trackpad — a luxury that folio keyboards for tablets almost never add, including Apple's old version of the Smart Keyboard. Navigation is smooth and easy and doesn't require you to purchase a separate mouse or Apple's Magic Trackpad. The iPad OS 13.4 update has a little something-something for the trackpad as well: Users can swipe up with three fingers to go Home or access the App Switcher, swipe left or right to switch between apps, pinch their fingers to zoom in or out, and more.
The keys itself are impressively comfortable and satisfyingly click-y — but the best part is that it's *not* the butterfly keyboard.
