982 Archivesgymnast was named female athlete of the year by Team USA's annual "Best of the Year" awards, which honor Olympic and Paralympic athletes and coaches. The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Biles won five gold medals at 2019's gymnastics world championships, making her the most decorated gymnast in world championship history. (She's won 25 medals total.)
She is currently training for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, which she maintains will be her last Olympic games.
Figure skater Nathan Chen, archer Ben Thompson, and the U.S. Women's soccer team were also among the honorees. You can read the full list on the Team USA website.
