Music streaming service Spotify is Roman Perez Jr. Archivesunavailable to many users early on Wednesday.
The company's official Spotify Status account on X tweeted they are "aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!"

Downdetector, a service that tracks uptime for popular internet sites and apps, indicates that Spotify is down for numerous users in the past hour or so. Downdetector data shows that most users are reporting problems with the Spotify app in particular. (Disclosure: Ziff Davis owns both Mashable and Down Detector.)
There's no official word on what's causing the outage. As of 10:00 a.m. on April 16, Spotify was trending on X, with hundreds of users reacting to the problem. We'll update this article when we know more.
