Get ready for new iPhones.
As predicted,Peggy Markoff Apple is hosting a special event on Sept. 10, starting at 10 a.m. PT, at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, CA, where it'll likely announce new iPhones.
New Apple Watches are also expected to be announced at the event.
Below, you can find the invitation Apple sent to press:
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
The invite says "By innovation only." The Apple logo is also done up in multiple colors — green, blue, yellow, red, and purple — which jibes with the rumored colors iPhone XR successor is expected to come in.
Like last year, Apple is expected to announce three new iPhones, possibly called the "iPhone 11," "iPhone 11 Pro," and "iPhone 11 Pro Max," according to leaker CoinX, who correctly predicted the names of the iPhone XS and XR.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 11 will reportedly replace the current iPhone XR with the main changes being a second telephoto lens on the rear and new green and purple colors.
The 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro and 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max will likely succeed the iPhone XS and XS Max, respectively. These new iPhones are rumored to gain a third ultra-wide camera on the rear.
According to Bloomberg, some of the new iPhones might come with a frosted glass finish instead of the glossy glass on current iPhones; the new coating could make the phones less slippery.
Other new features Apple will probably introduce: a more powerful A13 chip, faster Face ID that works better when the iPhones are laid flat, higher resolution photos from the "Pro" models' triple cameras, improved low-light camera performance, reverse wireless charging for powering up AirPods, and better water resistance.

Aside from these features, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pros should largely resemble the current iPhones — notch, metal, and glass designs and all.
Bloomberg also claims Apple will announce new Apple Watches. It's unclear if this means a new Series 5 or just new case materials for the Series 4.
The report says Apple might unveil new smartwatches in ceramic and titanium. The current Apple Watch Series 4 is available in aluminum and stainless steel.
Display sizes for the new Apple Watches is expected to remain the same at 40mm and 44mm.
Apple tends to use its September event for iPhones and Apple Watches. There are rumors Apple might announce a new entry-level 10.2-inch iPad to replace the 9.7-inch version, but that might not come until October, when Apple's expect to update the iPad Pros.
A 16-inch MacBook Pro that ditches the butterfly keyboard for new scissor-style keys and has a sharper display with thinner bezels is also not expected to be shown at the iPhone event, but later in the fall.
Updates for HomePod and AirPods are rumored for next year.
